The Central
The Central, sited on 77,000 sq. metres of prime land overlooking the Singapore River, is the first landmark development in Singapore to integrate habitation, lifestyle, business and transportation connectivity. The development consists of SOHO and office units, a retail podium with food and beverage outlets offering alfresco dining by the river, recreational facilities and full public amenities. Be part of this integrated live-work-play community.
The Central, above Clarke Quay MRT Station and next to the Singapore River, offers different modes of transportation. Directly opposite the happening Clake Quay district, the shopping mall is strategically located within the Central Business District. It is within walking distance to the banking institutions, historic Chinatown, the Colonial District, and the new city campuses of Singapore Management University and LaSalle-SIA College of the Arts. The art district, made up of museums, galleries and the Esplanade, and the entertainment belt are also just around the corner.
The project was developed by Far East Organisation, and is managed by PARCO on a day-to-day basis.
